Introduction
ANC Fabrics provides a customer application (the "App") that allows authorized customers to access services such as account information, orders and order details, invoices, account balances, balance and ledger information, payment information, stock and fabric availability, profile features, and customer support information.
Users cannot create an account through the App. Accounts are provisioned externally by ANC Fabrics. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Process
Depending on the functionality you use, the App may process or transmit the following information to the ANC Fabrics backend:
- Username or user ID
- Phone number
- Selected country / region
- Authentication credentials
- Authentication and session information
- Optional profile / avatar image
- Scanned item or barcode identifier when checking stock availability
- Customer order information
- Invoice information
- Account balance information
- Ledger information
- Payment-related customer account information
This information is used to provide authenticated customer services and related account functionality. ANC Fabrics does not sell this information.
2. Authentication and Account Information
Passwords are transmitted to the ANC Fabrics backend for authentication over encrypted HTTPS connections. The App does not persist your password locally on your device.
Authentication and session tokens may be stored using secure device storage in order to maintain your authenticated session between uses of the App.
3. Information Stored on Your Device
Some optional information may remain stored locally on your device, including:
- Full name
- Email address
- Company
- Business address
- Scan history
- Last scanned item
- Language / locale preferences
This information is intentionally stored locally on your device for your convenience and is not automatically transmitted to ANC Fabrics' backend unless required by another feature that you choose to use.
4. Profile Photos
Profile photos are optional. You may select a photo from your device's gallery or capture a photo using your device's camera.
A selected or captured photo is processed on your device and, only when you choose to save it, is uploaded securely to the ANC Fabrics backend. The App does not access or upload your entire photo gallery.
5. Camera and Barcode Scanning
Camera access may be requested for two purposes: scanning product or barcode information, and taking an optional profile photo.
Barcode camera frames are processed on your device. Raw barcode camera video or images are not uploaded to ANC Fabrics. Only the decoded item or barcode identifier may be sent to the ANC Fabrics backend when checking inventory availability.
Camera permission is optional for functionality where a manual entry alternative is available.
6. Orders, Invoices and Account Information
Authenticated customers may retrieve business information associated with their ANC Fabrics customer account, including orders, invoices, account balances, ledger entries, and payments. This information originates from ANC Fabrics' backend and business systems and is displayed to the authenticated customer within the App.
7. PDF Exports and External Applications
Invoice and account statement PDFs may be generated on your device. When you explicitly choose to Share, Print, or Save such a document, your device's operating system may allow you to send that document to another application or service of your choosing. ANC Fabrics does not automatically upload these generated PDFs to third-party services.
Some actions within the App may open external applications selected or installed by you, such as an email client, phone dialer, WhatsApp, or your operating system's sharing interface. These actions are initiated by you. Once you choose to interact with an external service, that service's own privacy practices may apply.
8. How We Use Information
Based on the current implementation of the App, ANC Fabrics does not intentionally collect precise or approximate device location, contacts, microphone or audio recordings, advertising identifiers, or device fingerprinting identifiers.
The current version of the App does not integrate advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. This statement applies to the current version of the App and may be updated if functionality changes.
9. Data Sharing
ANC Fabrics does not sell personal information. Based on the current implementation of the App, no advertising or analytics SDKs transmit user data to third parties.
Separately, actions that you direct toward external applications — such as email, WhatsApp, or your device's share sheet — are controlled by you and may then become subject to those external services' own privacy policies, which are outside of ANC Fabrics' control.
10. Security
ANC Fabrics uses reasonable technical safeguards to help protect your information, including:
- Communication with the ANC Fabrics API is performed using HTTPS/TLS encryption
- The App's API client rejects non-HTTPS requests to the ANC Fabrics API
- Authentication and session data is stored using secure device storage where applicable
- Passwords are not persisted by the App
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and ANC Fabrics cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Data Retention
ANC Fabrics retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide its services, maintain business and customer records, comply with applicable legal, accounting, contractual, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Certain accounting, invoice, payment, order, or transaction records may need to be retained for longer periods where required for legitimate business or legal obligations.
12. Your Privacy Requests
You may contact ANC Fabrics to request information about, correction of, or, where applicable, deletion of eligible personal information using the contact details in the "Contact Us" section below.
Some records, such as accounting, invoice, payment, or transaction records, may need to be retained even after a deletion request where required by legal, accounting, contractual, or legitimate business obligations. Not every record can be deleted.
13. Children's Privacy
The ANC Fabrics App is intended for business customers aged 18 and over and is not directed toward children.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
ANC Fabrics may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as App functionality, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date shown at the top of this page indicates the current version of this policy.
